The Sun Welding RS-36 Renegade Gun Safe is an entry-level safe that gives you great protection for a great cost. There are many benefits to owning a gun safe. Having firearms stolen is certainly a valid concern but there is of course a safety concern as well so that unauthorized or properly trained people such as children cannot gain access to your firearms. Recent statistics show that an average of 62 children aged 14 or younger die per year by accidental gunshots and the data concluded that 70% of such incidents are preventable by using a gun safe. The RS-36 not only can help with the safety and security of your guns, but it will also help to protect them in the event of a fire outbreak.
The features of the Sun Welding RS-36 Renegade Gun Safe include an extra strong solid steel door and body, backed by a proven fire liner, burglar protection, and fire protection. It comes enforced with a group II lock. This safe is fire-tested to 1200 degrees F for 30 minutes. The solid steel door is 3/16” thick and it has ten 1” diameter steel locking bolts and two relockers. The Palusol door seal is heat-activated. The interior has a fully adjustable EZ Out velour and there are two pre-drilled mounting holes to securely bolt the safe down. The solid steel exterior is 12 gauge and comes with a durable textured gray paint. The Renegade also comes with a lifetime warranty.

- The door is sealed with a heat expanding seal, swelling up to eight times its size
